Jayson Tatum, Marcus Smart Lead Celtics' Game 3 Victory

Boston Improves to 2-1 in NBA Final

The Boston Celtics took a 2-1 lead in the NBA Finals on Wednesday night with a 116-100 victory over the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 at TD Garden.

Jayson Tatum, who scored a game-high 26 points, led the way for the Celtics. Marcus Smart added 24 points, while Jaylen Brown had 22 points and Robert Williams III had 10 points and 12 rebounds.

The Warriors, who fell behind 2-0 in the Finals for the first time in the Steve Kerr era, were led by Stephen Curry's 31 points. Klay Thompson added 25 points and Andrew Wiggins had 17 points.

The Celtics, who have now won 10 consecutive playoff games, will host Game 4 on Friday night at TD Garden. The Warriors will need to win Game 4 in order to even the series and avoid going down 3-1.
